Eye Testing by our Optometrist
Judith Graetzer is available on Monday & Thursday mornings and Wednesday & Friday afternoons. She is an expert in contact lens fitting and conducting field tests. She bulk bills Medicare for the eye test. Please ring on 9826 5003 or 9827 6256 for an appointment.
Specialised Services
We are the preferred supplier and fitter of Zeiss G-2 loupes which are widely used by dentists and surgeons.
We have also made a study of Low Vision Aids for use by people with problems such as Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, and Glaucoma. Again the range of products available is legion and we are able to source many of them for the customer to try.
Frames
A large range of frames is available to us and in stock. If we do not have the particular frame on the shelf we are more than happy to get it in “on approval” for you to see. We have even, on occasions, specially fabricated frames if they have been required.
The Lenses
... enable our customer to do the “seeing” and our experienced staff will analyse the customers requirements and suggest the most appropriate lens. Distance, reading, computer, sunglasses, sports, boating, and many other specialized fields can be catered for. Not always with one pair of glasses – you may need a specific pair for a specific job.
Contact Lenses
We do not carry contact lenses in stock – there is no need. Most disposable contact lenses will be in the shop on the next working day after ordering them.
